David Hockney Mini-Project
For this project, we analyzed montages that David Hockney has made over his years in photography. We shot these with our phones (outside in the snow for aesthetic pleasing) and picked an area to shoot, making sure to take pictures in rows across and down to get the complete area. When you put all these together in one image and over lap them, you get a huge photo that looks like a panorama but in noticeable sections. If I were to use this technique in photo again, I would take photos in smaller sections so the collage/ final project can look more overlapped or take pictures of things with more color so I can overlap them and combine colors.
