Motion Project
For this project, the class practiced various ways to shoot action photos. We started with stop motion (which freezes the motion that the subject is doing), blurred motion (which shows the motion but blurred with the background still), panning (which is when you follow the subject while they are in motion, making them look faster that they really are). We could also do Extended Exposure (which is when the shutter speed is set to a very low level to drag the actions of the subject out until it leaves the frame). For my final photos, I used stop motion and extended exposure. I got to change the shutter speed, ISO and aperture to make these photos look they way they do. I also adjusted them slightly in Photoshop to give them a finishing touch.
